Jaha, då var det dags igen. Gatstensfest i Malmö. Som vanligt blossar media upp händelsen en aning, särskilt riksmedia och Stockholmstidningar. Se en. Och en lite nyare.
Efter att ha läst några artiklar både där och på Sydsvenskan, samt sett inslag i Rapport kan jag konstatera att det var ett upplopp av det lugnare slaget. Inga bilar eller andra fordon brann. Ett fönster krossades. Några färgbomber, men inget systematiskt klottrande. Ingen blev nämnvärt skadad. Huvuddelen av demonstranterna höll sig borta från dumheterna. Polisen fick ganska snabbt kontroll över situationen, och bråkstakarna omhändertogs. Allt verkade vara över inom loppet av en halvtimme om jag förstått saken rätt.
Eller så har jag kanske vant mig. Det är den nya folksporten i Malmö. Plocka valfritt tillhygge, välj sida och sätt igång.
En filminspelning jag såg på Sydsvenskan såg ganska skrämmande ut dock. Jag påmindes starkt om vad som utgör en inte alltför oansenlig del av Malmös befolkning. Det var åtminstone en liten liten anledning till att jag började ogilla Malmö, som jag redan har hunnit glömma bort, och en påminnelse om att jag bör hålla mig borta därifrån ett tag till. Det gjordes mycket väsen av att polisen drog vapen, men vad kan man vänta sig? Å andra sidan borde de kanske gjort något tidigare istället för att bara sitta kvar i polisbussen.
Jag har också lagt märke till hur polisen blir lite bättre utrustade för varje upplopp. För varje gång det är kravaller på gång tycks de få en mer av de där specialbyggda polisbussarna i hård avskräckande mörk stålblågrå färg med krossäkert glas, extra strålkastare, gallerskydd, tjocka däck och förstärkt plåt för varje gång.
En vanlig händelserik dag i Malmö.
Jag noterar klockan 21:32 att det hörs ett antal explosioner efter varandra. Hade det varit i Malmö hade jag inte brytt mig. Men vem har pyroteknisk apparatur i Piteå? Här finns ingen halvt olaglig import från fjärran länder.
Fan, man kanske ska haka på nästa gång det händer något. Sverige har ju ordförandeskapet i EU efter sommaren, så det blir ju lysande kravallmöjligheter. Vem är med mig?
Råkade snubbla över den här artikeln på Jerusalem Post när jag egentligen letade efter något angående Malmökravallerna. Intressant, intressant. Lustigt att jag såg den kort efter att jag har skrivit en del om Mac.
Här är det jag letade efter. Artikeln är det inget större fel på, i alla fall inte med tanke på att det handlar om en anti-Israelprotest. Kommentarerna var desto intressantare. Människor från vitt skilda håll verkar ha skrivit där. Det var längesen jag såg så många stereotypa uppfattningar om människor och länder på en gång. Flera av dem tänker bojkotta Sverige och svenska varor efter Lars Ohlys uttalande om att bojkotta Israel, som var i stort sett det enda citatet från demonstrationsdeltagarna. Överlag tycks irritationen flöda åt alla håll, och vissa tycks har svårt att behärska sig, eller orka tänka. Hatet växer blir mer och mer synligt med åren känns det som. Skrämmande utveckling.

Försoning och förståelse tycks inte vara så inne på 2000-talet.
… men så ser jag i Rapport (även SvD, SDS (TT)) att USA och Ryssland ska försöka enas om ett nytt START-avtal. Hu..va..? Ett nytt START-avtal? Är det möjligt? Ä.. är det verkligen möjligt..?
Jag blir tårögd.
Det finns alltså hopp.

a Love letter to Swedish Nationalists
Nearly all the brain dead ignorant comments I read in Sweden these days are the result of both a failure of the heart and the head. The incredible ignorance of history, culture and politics is very dangerous as it makes people easily misled. These morons repeat sheep like the bleatings of the press and don’t see the threats that are real and that are the product of our dying Democracy.
The press in Sweden ALWAYS sees protests as good when they happen anywhere else but bad in Sweden and the sheep here always remember and believe the outright lies, distortions on the part of the established media on pages 1-7 of the papers (Götaborg’s 2002 ‘Kravaller’) but never remember the corrections to these lies when the media corrects itself (if they bother too) on one paragraph on page 17 weeks later. Thus the lies become History in the minds of the sheep not the factual corrections.
Examples from that are headlines like ‘1200 broken windows’ is later corrected to ‘about 100. 16 dead police horse becomes 0 dead police horses. the ‘tyska terroristen’ never existed and the police add and edit the ‘evidence video used to defend police for shooting a demonstrator (Westerberg?) in the back. In that case he was sent to jail and the judge excused the police for forgery by saying that ‘the police didn’t do it to misleed anybody with it (why did they do it then?)’
The demonstrators were accused by the whole media monopoly of supporting terrorism and 911 and we were told that they supported Saddams ‘terror regime’ and didn’t really believe in peace but violence. We all now know the war was based on lies and Bush and Blair are seen as hated losers.
However just like the Hippies in the 1960’s and 70’s who were ridiculed for their concern for mother nature, humanity or the murder of 3 million Vietnamese. They are given no credit for being right. Racists call anti-racists, racist and anti-facists are seen as fascists while mass murderers (Bush, Blair, Ohlmert etc) and proven liers are seen as moderate and respectable ‘democrats’
I am a non religious (but NOT anti-religious) democratic socialist who believes in the necessity of both private and public ownership and the need for a real liberal education including history and literature. Todays Europe is threatened by a growing authoritarian economic oligarchy (EU). A return to 19th Century values and the ultimate police state, care of high technology (FRA lagen, cameras everyware, no privacy), and media dribble (take your pick). 1984’s Distopia is here now and so all grass roots organizations are treated as the same threat to order instead of that created by our elite’s economic greed (unemployment, market based pension systems etc).
Todays Jews are the Arabs, only they unlike the Jews of the 1930’s refuse to lay down and die quietly so we call them terrorists. They are not ALL good people of course but again that is irrelevant as it is true of all groups and propaganda always needs an enemy and if there are many it is best to describe them as all being the same. Nazi=Socialist=Islam. Its total madness but it is what these idiots out there think is real. These ‘moderats’ of course are not ‘racists’ they just don’t like ‘primitive’ cultures
(Arabs) etc but these supporters of ‘Western Freedoms’ are so ready to take away these freedoms when it comes to others they don’t approve off (torture, unprovoked wars like Iraq).
They are also very sensitive to insults when it comes to immature 15 year olds who stupidly say ‘noff, noff’ they are prepared to imprison, beat or even shoot teenagers but they are suddenly very understanding of poor adult and trained professional racist police who before anything has happened talk about ‘Neger Niggarson, apjävel etc’ and who resort to unprovoked violence at every opportunity on the weak and unwanted (‘Skit unga’, slodder etc).
I am so glad that unlike Europe the US has finally won the culture war against racism at least in the political arena. I am afraid that the ‘EU’ Europe it is starting down the long road to a totalitarianism that with the technical possibilitys of today and the total breakdown of solidarity and real communities means we Europeans are becoming the atomised individuals Hitler understood to be the perfect tools of a perfectly manipulated mass with no ideals and no morals.
